Competitive Gymnastics Team

The competitive gymnastics teams at Black Diamond Kids Center are part of a comprehensive, well-established USA Gymnastics program. Promising gymnasts as young as three years old may be invited to participate in our Jewel Program. Our Developmental Competitive Teams, formally Junior Olympic Teams, provide our compulsory gymnasts (J.O. levels 3-5) with a solid and accurate foundation, while our higher level optional gymnasts (J.O. levels 6-10) compete locally and nationally. As an alternative to the more rigorous Developmental Program, Black Diamond Kids Center also hosts a continuously growing Xcel Program. Jewel Team and Team athletes train year-round with schedules ranging from 2-16+ hours per week depending on their levels and the time of year. Our goal is to help young athletes reach their goals in gymnastics while embodying our team values. It is our goal to play a constructive role in the development of healthy, confident, disciplined and responsible athletes.
